Dali appeared to be quite the inventor..one of the more unusual things we saw was where he designed, for his studio, a really big lift for that would come out of the floor to act as his easel to aide him in painting. We were so excited to explore the inner sanctum of his home, walk where he walked, sit where he and other infamous artist sat, all while enjoying the scene of the small fishing village...and the sublime views of the Mediterranean Sea. (many pictures to post soon☺️)

Dali and Gala's home
Petra accompanied Lauren and I to Port Lligat to tour the home of Dali and Gala. Originally the village was just comprised of fisherman's huts until Dali acquired several, added onto them and eventually created his and Gala's haven on the coast. It was here that we learned of Dali and Gala's unusual relationship, saw where they entertained their guest and lived their daily lives from kitchen, to chapel, to the outlandish over the top bedroom.
